| Travel the World: A Nomad Backpacking Story Since February of 2008, Natalie and I have been thinking about taking a year out of our everyday lives to travel across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Oceania to experience different people, cultures and points of view. We were not, at first, convinced that this was something we could actually physically do (the idea feels a bit odd even now) nor were we convinced that we could financially afford this endeavor. (Forget about money, what about our careers? Would someone want to hire us after that long out of work?) After many months of planning, saving and researching, we have decided to take the plunge, leave our jobs and go see the world. This of course means that this web site will not be update for a good long time.
