Hurray for vegetables. One of my favorite things about Loveland is the incredible Farmer’s Market. Great farm fresh produce picked the same morning that you purchase the veggies. And they are at very affordable prices.

I was able to buy all of the produce below for exactly $8.

AMAZING!

Anyway, thats one of the many great things about living in Loveland, Colorado. It’s also been awesome to live close to Rocky Mountain National Park. About a 45 minute drive there (up into the mountains) and only about 30 minutes coasting back down to Loveland. The last 2 Saturday’s have been spent hiking and climbing BIG mountains.

This past Saturday we were able to go with Phil and Sarah new friends, also new to Loveland. They recently moved from California.

We had an amazing day. We even saw a heard of elk where I was able to snap a great shot.

Elk

National Geographic worthy? It was incredible to see something God created so close. [We don't have a Digital SLR, our zoom is pretty basic, so I was extremely close to the heard as they grazed.] What a magnificent creature.

Overall we have been having a great adventure experiencing Colorado life. Loads of recreation, activities, festivals, and fun!
