I am currently learning that, and I am sure this is common sense to most people, that being a Nomad complicates the making friends process just a bit. In addition, this is the first time in my life that I am married and making a steady effort at making friends. Although not in any way a bad experience, it certainly is different. Thus in the spirit of missing below the water line type friendships, I thought I would write about my good friend Bryan.

My Bryan is the type of guy who inspires individuals, both men and women alike, to refer to him simply as “My Bryan”. I recognize that this seems both a bit possessive, and, lets be honest, slightly freaky. I could not agree more, but when it comes to Bryan, these rules do not apply.

Bryan Brown, a great friend who happens to be my ex most favorite roommate, turned 25 last weekend.  Sadly, I was not in Kalamazoo for the experience, from talking to Bryan, it sounds like he had a good time. Needless to say, in many ways this post, although it will be short, is a shout out to my good buddy Bryan. (If you were to spell his name BrIan or as he refers to it, Brian with an I, he tends to get rather feisty).  In the spirit of Bryan being a whopping quarter century old I though I would post my new favorite picture of him.

Note: Bryan is not really green.
